Answers to the questions we hear most often. Don't see what you're looking for? Contact us and we're happy to help.
Do you work on my car's make?
We specialize in the service, repair, and restoration of vintage and classic British and European imports — including Jaguar, MG, Triumph, Austin-Healey, Morgan, Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, and Alfa Romeo. If you have a current-model version of one of these makes, we're generally equipped for basic maintenance rather than specialized diagnostic or warranty work. Give us a call and we'll let you know if your vehicle is a good fit.
Do you do full restorations, or just repairs?
Both. Our work ranges from routine maintenance and repairs to full restorations — including frame and rust repair, chassis work, custom panel fabrication, and paint preparation. See our Projects page for examples.
Can you evaluate a car I'm considering buying?
Yes. Send us a Carfax or AutoCheck report, or a listing link (Bring a Trailer, etc.), and we're glad to share our thoughts on condition, fair pricing, and known issues for that model.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Email or call us with your preferred timeframe and we'll get back to you with available dates. Popular vehicles and busy seasons can book out two to three weeks or more, so it's worth reaching out with some lead time.
Can I drop my car off after hours?
Yes — we have a key drop box for after-hours drop-off. Just let us know by email or through our customer portal so we're expecting it.
What are your hours?
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you help arrange towing or transport?
Yes, we can coordinate with towing and vehicle transport companies — including for vehicles purchased out of state.
Can I get an estimate before bringing my car in?
We're happy to give you a general idea over email for common issues, but a full written estimate typically requires an in-person evaluation, which we provide once we've had a chance to look at the vehicle.
How long will my repair take?
It depends largely on parts availability. Many of our parts ship from the UK or specialty suppliers, which can add one to three weeks to a repair timeline. Simple jobs can sometimes be handled same-day if scheduled in advance — just ask when you call.
Is there a diagnostic fee?
Yes, a diagnostic fee applies for evaluating your vehicle. Ask us for current pricing when you schedule, and how it may apply toward your repair.
Can I order parts directly from you?
Yes — we regularly sell individual parts, from small trim pieces to larger components, available for pickup or shipping.
Can you find a hard-to-find part for my classic car?
Yes. We work with specialty importers — including Rimmer Bros, Moss Motors, Rovers North, SNG Barratt, Alfaholics, and Minispares — to source OEM and reproduction parts for classic British and European cars.
Can you send me my vehicle's service history?
Yes — just ask and we'll put together a summary of past work.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. We regularly provide repair estimates, damage documentation, and signed invoices for insurance adjusters.
Can you send photos for my insurance company or a buyer or seller?
Yes, sending photos of damage, parts, or completed repairs to insurers or other third parties is something we handle routinely.
Can you store my car while it's waiting on parts or a decision?
In some cases, yes — vehicles awaiting parts or a decision may be able to stay with us, covered, for a period of time. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
